NEW MACHINERY FOR FACTS
Recent machine tool investment at Facts in 2010 has seen the arrival of five new machines to complement our existing machine database.
At the start of the year, our Mazak Nexus 4000 ii multi pallet horizontal machining centre arrived, adding another dimension to our diverse milling facility with its six pallet system offering increased machine uptime and lights-out running.
Following closely behind in May were our two Mazak SQT Nexus ii 200MSY machines, with advanced turning and y-axis milling capability including sub-spindle.
June and August saw the arrival of our Doosan Puma TT1800SY multi axis turning centres, Two spindles with upper and lower turrets and equal capacity horizontally opposing spindles, ensures two different operations can be performed simultaneously.
AUDIT SUCCESS
September saw us pass and successfully retain our ISO standards with a two day audit.
Facts has held the IS0 9001 : 2008 manufacturing standard in various forms since 1988,
With us adding the environmental standard IS0 14001 in 2004.
